In this study, within the framework of the professional competence of pre-service teachers' was aimed to verify structural equation model suggested relationships among content knowledge, pedagogical content knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, self efficacy belief of teaching, attitudes towards the teaching profession and period of teaching experience. Structural equation modeling (SEM) study, in essence, purposes to be tested of a model included well-supported theoretical knowledge. Structural equation modeling provides to researchers detailed information data presenting cause-effect relationships, explaining direct and indirect relationships between variables. In this research, a model was developed taking into account the main factors effecting professional competence and professional competencies of pre-service teachers and was followed to verify this model. The sample of this study was consisted of overall 202 pre-service teachers studied at Chemistry Teaching Program from 4 different universities. The data obtained was analyzed using the SEM. According to the findings, relationships occurred in model was consisted with the data considering goodness of fit criteria and proposed model was verified except the pedagogical variable.
