Examining Female Executives’ Job Satisfaction Levels In Terms of Mid-adulthood
Abstract
The study aims to determine female executives’ job satisfaction levels, who are in their midadulthood, and put forward the relationship between job satisfaction level and other variables. In this respect, female executives’ job satisfaction levels, who work in Mersin, have been measured by JSS Job Satisfaction Scale (Spector,1997). The data obtained have been compared with demographic variables, such as age, work experience, marital status, educational level and the number of children they have. The participants of the study involve 100 female executives working in Mersin. A questionnaire has been used as the instrument of the study. The findings of the study have shown that there is not a significant difference between female executives’ job satisfaction levels and the variables of age, the number of children, and work experience. However, a significant difference has been found between female executives’ job satisfaction levels and the variables of marital status and educational level
