A STUDY ON LİNE BASİC DESİGN

Abstract

Design in the painting is composed of the design elements such as lines, form, shape, color, texture, size, space, direction and shadow by bringing them together in an expressionistic and harmonious way. The line, as one of these design elements, constitutes the most important element of painting with the expressive power it embodies (Özkartal, 2009: 58). Line has maintained its position as an expression and communication tool at all times. From the very first days of paintings on the walls of caves until now, the line that appears as the first referenced element for visual communication in every age also comprises psychological meanings. The artists have used the intense expressive power of line in their works in every period and they have skillfully managed to reveal both dynamism and stagnation of the line

TEMEL TASARIMDA ÇİZGİ ÜZERİNE

Öz

Resimde tasarım; çizgi, form, biçim, renk, doku, ölçü, aralık (espas), yön ve ışık-gölge gibi tasarım öğelerinin anlatımcı bir düzen, bir uyum içerisinde bir araya getirilmesiyle oluşur. Bu tasarım öğelerinden biri olan çizgi, içerdiği anlatım gücü ile resmin en önemli öğesini teşkil eder (Özkartal, 2009: 58). Çizgi bir ifade ve iletişim aracı olarak tüm zamanlarda yerini korumuştur. Mağara duvarlarından bu günlere kadar her çağda görsel iletişim adına ilk başvurulan eleman olarak karşımıza çıkan çizgi, psikolojik olarak da anlam içermektedirler. Her dönemde sanatçılar da çizginin bu yoğun ifade gücünü çalışmalarında kullanmış ve gerek çizginin dinamizmini gerekse çizginin durgunluğunu ustaca gözler önüne sermeyi başarmışlardır
