Sequentıal Probabılıty Ratıo Test Of Rayleıgh Dıstrıbutıon
Abstract
Rayleigh distribution, which is a special case of Weibull distribution, used widely in reliability analysis, communication engineering and especially studies based on wind speed. Advantage to Weibull is, this distiribution given with only one parameter. Parameter of a population, which the distribution known, can be tested by using Wald’s sequential probability ratio test. Area that the datas obtained sequantially using the test creates an advantage. In this study, shown that Wald’s sequential probability ratio test can be used for Rayleigh distribution and given an application on wind speed data.
