Gelişim Güçleri Profili’nin Türkçeye Uyarlanması ve Psikometrik Özelliklerinin İncelenmesi

Öz

Bu çalışmanın amacı lise öğrencilerinin gelişim güçlerini belirlemek amacıyla Gelişim Güçleri Profili’nin (GGP- Developmental Assets Profile/DAP) Türkçeye uyarlanması ve psikometrik özeliklerinin incelenmesidir. Dilsel eşdeğerlik çalışmaları kapsamında yapılan uygulamalarda, ölçeğin Türkçe ve özgün formu arasında anlamlı ilişki olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Yapılan doğrulayıcı faktör analizi bulguları, uyarlanan ölçeğin faktör yapısının özgün formdaki sekiz boyutlu yapıyı doğrulandığını göstermiş ve elde edilen uyum indeksleri modelin, orta düzeyde iyi uyum değerlerine sahip olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Güvenirlik analizleri kapsamında hesaplanan Cronbach alfa iç tutarlık katsayıları oldukça yüksek bulunmuştur. Test-tekrar test analizi için üç hafta arayla yapılan uygulamalardan elde edilen puanlar arasında yüksek düzeyde korelasyon değerleri hesaplanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular GGP’nin, lise öğrencilerinin gelişim güçlerini belirlemede kullanılmaya uygun, geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğunu ortaya koymuştur.

Adapting the Developmental Assets Profile to Turkish and Examination the Psychometric Properties

Öz

The aim of this study is to adapt the Developmental Assets Profile to Turkish in order to determine the developmental assets of high school students and to examine its psychometric properties. In the applications conducted within the scope of linguistic equivalence studies, it was concluded that there is a significant relationship between the Turkish form and the original form of the scale. The findings of the confirmatory factor analysis performed showed that the factor structure of the adapted scale confirmed the eight-dimensional structure in the original form, and the fit indexes obtained revealed that the model had moderately good fit values. Cronbach alpha internal consistency coefficients calculated for reliability analysis were found to be quite high. For the test-retest analysis, high level correlation values were calculated between the scores obtained from the applications performed three weeks apart. The findings revealed that DAP is a valid and reliable measurement tool suitable for use in determining the developmental strengths of high school students.
