TÜRKİYE’DE İHRACAT İLE EKONOMİK BÜYÜME ARASINDAKİ DOĞRUSAL OLMAYAN NEDENSEL İLİŞKİNİN ANALİZİ

Öz

İhracat ve ekonomik büyüme ilişkisi kalkınma ekonomisinde önemli bir konuma sahiptir. Nedensellik ihracattan büyümeye doğru bulunduğunda ihracata dayalı büyüme, nedensellik büyümeden ihracata doğru bulunduğunda ise büyümeye dayalı ihracat hipotezleri geçerli olmaktadır. Bu çalışmada Türkiye’de ihracat ile ekonomik büyüme arasındaki nedensellik ilişkisi, serilerin doğrusal olmamasından dolayı, Diks ve Panchenko (2006) doğrusal olmayan nedensellik testi ile araştırılmıştır. Veriler 2003Q1-2020Q3 dönemini kapsamaktadır. Serilerin doğrusal olmadığının ve birim köklü olduğunun bulunmasının ardından nedensellik testi uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, ihracattan büyümeye doğru tek yönlü nedensellik ilişkisi bulunmuştur. Buna göre ihracata dayalı büyüme hipotezi geçerlidir ve ihracatın ekonomik büyüme için önemli bir faktör olduğu söylenebilmektedir.
