ROL STRES KAYNAKLARI VE İŞ TATMİNİ ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİDE AMİRİN ALGILANAN SOSYAL DESTEĞİNİN ETKİSİ

Öz

İş Stresi, organizasyonların işleyişine olan negatif etkileri nedeniyle bilimsel araştırmalarda
defalarca konu edilmiş bir konudur ( Beehr & Newman, 1978; Bhagat, 1994; Cooper et. al.,2001).
Yapılan araştırmalar, rol çatışması ve rol belirsizliği ile iş tatmini arasında olumsuz bir ilişki
olduğunu göstermiştir (Fisher & Gitelson, 1983; Jackson & Schuler, 1985). Amirin sosyal destek
verdiğinin algılanması durumunda bu ilişkinin zayıflayabileceği görülmüştür (Cummings, 1990;
Orpen, 1982; Muchinsky, 1997; Jex, 1998 ).
Bu araştırmada Türkiye’nin kültürel özellikleri de gözönünde bulundurularak, rol çatışması ve rol
belirsizliği ile iş tatmini arasındaki ilişki araştırılmış, bu ilişkide amirin algılanan sosyal
desteğinin etkisine bakılmıştır.
İş tatmininin özerklik boyutu ile rol belirsizliği arasında olumlu bir ilişki olduğu, ayrıca iş ve insan
kaynaklı rol çatışması ile yönetim kaynaklı iş tatmini arasında olumsuz bir ilişki olduğu
görülmüştür. Amirin sosyal desteğinin dostluk boyutunun; iş tatmininin çalışma koşulları boyutu
ile rol çatışmasının işle ilgili boyutu arasındaki ilişkiyi manidar bir şekilde etkilediği
gözlemlenmiştir
