Öz

Prostetik kapak trombozu hayatı tehdit eden önemli bir komplikasyondur. Genellikle uygunsuzantikoagulan kullanımı sonucu görülmektedir. Prostetik kapak trombozunda tercih edilen tedavicerrahidir. Sol taraf prostetik kapak trombozunda trombolitik tedavi; cerrahi girişim yüksek riskliolduğunda ve trombüs nispeten küçük olduğunda ilk tedavi seçeneği olarak düşünülebilir. Bu olgu,tekrarlayan prostetik kapak trombozunda t-PA tedavisinin başarısını göstermektedir

Recurrent prosthetic mitral valve thrombosis due to inadequate Anticoagulation and thrombolytic therapy: case report

Öz

Prosthetic valve thrombosis is a life threatening complication. It usually occurs due to inadequateanticoagulation. Surgical approach is the preferred treatment strategy in these patients. Thrombolytictherapy may be considered as a first-line therapy in left-sided prosthetic valve trombosis if surgerycarries high risk and clot burden is small. The present case demonstrates the benefical effects of t-PAin recurrent prosthetic valve thrombosis
