Psikolojik İyi Oluş ve Dindarlık İlişkisi: Trabzon İlahiyat Örneği

Öz

Psikolojik
iyi oluş, diğerleri ile uyumlu olma, öz saygı, özgüven, mutluluk, yaşamsal
sorunlarla başa çıkabilme ve hayatta anlam bulma gibi anlamlara gelmektedir. Ülkemizde
son yıllarda yapılan araştırmalarda bireylerin psikolojik iyi oluş düzeylerinin
oldukça düştüğü gözlemlenmiş ve bu konuda farklı yaklaşımlara ihtiyaç
doğmuştur. Bu araştırmada psikolojik/öznel iyi oluş ve dindarlık ilişkisi
incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemi Trabzon Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi’nde
öğrenim görmekte olan yaşları 18-37 arasında değişen 358’ı kadın ve 151’i erkek
toplam 509 genç bireyden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Warwick-Edinburgh
Mental İyi Oluş Ölçeği
, İçsel Dini Motivasyon Ölçeği ve Dini
Şuur Ölçeği
kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada öncelikle örneklemin yaş, cinsiyet
ve kişilik yapısını içeren demografik özellikleri psikolojik iyi oluş ve
dindarlık açısından incelenmiş, daha sonra dindarlık ile psikolojik iyi oluş
arasındaki ilişkilere bakılmış ve şu sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır. Dışadönüklük ile psikolojik/öznel
iyi oluş ve içsel dini motivasyon arasında pozitif ilişki bulunmuştur. İçsel
dini motivasyon ve dini şuur ile psikolojik/öznel iyi oluş arasında da pozitif yönlü
ilişki tespit edilmiştir.
