Covid 19 enfeksiyonunda emzirme ve ebelik bakımı

Öz

COVID-19 enfeksiyonu bütün dünya ülkelerine yayılan önemli bir pandemidir. Enfeksiyonun gebeler ve fetüse olan etkileri tam olarak bilinmemekte ve emzirme dönemi hakkında yeterli veri bulunmamaktadır. Emzirme ile ilgili farklı görüşler olmasına rağmen genellikle beslenmenin anne sütü ile olması yönündedir. COVID 19 tanısı alan gebenin doğumundan sonra bebeğinin 14 gün izole edilmesi ve sağma ile beslenmenin desteklenmesi önerilmektedir. Bu süreçte doğum yapan kadına bakım veren ebeler; bebeklerin sağlıklı gelişimi için annelerin emzirmeye teşvik edilmesinde, sürecin iyi yönetilmesinde, izolasyon kurallarının sürdürülmesinde ve uygulamalarda annelerin desteklenmesinde önemli rol oynarlar.

Breastfeeding and midwifery care in Covid-19 infection

Öz

COVID-19 infection is an important pandemic that spreads all over the world. The effect of infection on pregnant women and fetus is not known exactly and there is not enough information about breastfeeding period. Although there are different opinions about breastfeeding, generally are in the direction of nutrition with breast milk. It is recommended to isolate the baby for 14 days after the birth of the pregnant woman diagnosed with COVID 19 and to support milking breast milk and feeding with breast milk. Midwives who care for the woman giving birth in this process; they play an important role in encouraging mothers to breastfeed for healthy development of babies, managing the process well, maintaining isolation rules and supporting mothers in practices.
