This commentary provides an evaluation of the structure and functioning of the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey, particularly discussing the reforms needed to achieve the goals and objectives in education. The relationship between effective ministry management and improving school performance is examined, highlighting the differences between the concepts of "goal" and "objective." The importance of granting more authority to school management is also emphasized. In the context of the Turkiye Century Education Model and the new curriculum draft, proposed changes to the education system are critiqued.
