In this study, after stating the importance and place of coursebooks in the process of teaching, it is tried to determine student teachers’expectations about implemented activities during the course process of “Analysing the Textbook of the Course”. This research was applied with the 165 student teachers in science teaching department of SAÜ the Faculty of Education in
the 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 fall semestre. In the first period of the first application, at the beginning of the teaching process, research data showed expressions of the candidates about the expectancy towards the proposes of course, in the second period, data was obtained examining the answers that student teachers gave to evaluation questions which required the candidates to express their proposes that could provide more effective applications and the experiences based implemented activities. Datas in the third period is collected applying the questionnaire which was formed by taking the candidates behavior frequencies into consideration to the candidates who were in the second year application. It was concluded that expressed
expectancies were completely even over the expectancy level met. But, questioning intensfied expressions in expectancies and gained skills, the study was concluded drawing attention to important suggestions which would lead to implement more qualified applications.
