Scrum Metodolojisi Kullanılarak Yönetilen Projelerde Fonksiyonel ve Otomasyon Testlerinin Türkiye’de Yazılım Geliştiren Firmalardaki İşleyiş Analizi

Öz

Bu çalışmada, proje yönetiminde scrum metodolojisi kullanan Türkiye'deki yazılım geliştiren firmaların fonksiyonel ve otomasyon test süreçlerinin işleyişi ve analizi ortaya konmuştur. Çevik proje yönetim metodolojilerden biri olan scrum metodolojisinin çalışanlar tarafından benimsenme ve test süreçlerinin bu metodolojilere entegrasyonu üzerine yoğunlaşılmıştır. Fonksiyonel ve otomasyon test süreçlerinin scrum metodolojisi çerçevesinde firmaların süreç yönetimi içerisinde nasıl optimize edildiğini, bu yaklaşımın projelerin verimliliği ve başarısı üzerindeki etkilerinin ne düzeyde olduğunun araştırması yapılmıştır. Araştırmada demografik dağılım, iş ve eğitim geçmişi, scrum metodolojisine aşinalık düzeyleri ve kişilerin test tecrübeleri dikkate alınarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bulgular neticesinde scrum metodolojisinin çalışma kapsamında araştırmaya dahil olan firmaların büyük çoğunluğu tarafından benimsendiğini ve projelerinde test süreçlerinin çoğunlukla otomasyon desteğiyle gerçekleştirildiğini ortaya koymuştur. Çıkan sonuçlar sonucunda scrum metodolojisinin, projelerdeki test süreçlerinin entegrasyonunda ve yönetiminde etkili olduğu ortaya konmuştur.

Functional and Automation Testing in Projects Managed Using Scrum Methodology in Software Development Companies in Turkey

Öz

This study presents the functioning and analysis of functional and automation test processes of software development companies in Turkey that use scrum methodology in project management. The focus is on the adoption of scrum methodology, one of the agile project management methodologies, by employees and the integration of test processes into these methodologies. The study was conducted to determine how functional and automation test processes are optimized within the process management of companies within the framework of scrum methodology and to what extent this approach affects the efficiency and success of projects. The study was conducted by taking into account demographic distribution, work and education history, familiarity levels with scrum methodology and test experiences of individuals. As a result of the findings, it was revealed that scrum methodology was adopted by the vast majority of companies included in the study and that test processes in their projects were mostly carried out with automation support. As a result of the results, it was revealed that scrum methodology was effective in the integration and management of test processes in projects.
