Koyun (Ovis aries) Trakea Mukozasındaki Bazı Peptidlerin İmmunohistokimyasal Lokalizasyonları

Öz

Bu çalışmada, koyun (Ovis aries), (alt ve üst) trake mukozasında GAL (Galanin), PHI (Peptit Histidin İzolösin) ve Leu-Enk (Leu-Enkefalin) peptitlerinin immunohistokimyasal lokalizasyonlarının belirlenmesi amaçlandı. Üst trake lamina epitelyalisindeki GAL, PHI ve Leu-ENK immunoreaktif hücrelerin yoğunluğunun alt trakeye göre daha fazla olduğu saptandı. PHI immunoreaktif hücrelerin ise üst trake lamina epitelyalisinde diğer peptitlere göre daha fazla sayıda bulunduğu belirlendi. GAL, PHI ve Leu-ENK immunoreaktivitesine aynı zamanda düz kas, serömuköz bez hücreleri, bu bezler ile kan damarları çevresinde ve gangliyon hücrelerinde de rastlandı. Sonuç olarak GAL, Leu-ENK ve PHI’nın geniş mukozal dağılımının, memeli solunum sistemindeki vasküler ve sekretuvar fonksiyonların düzenlemesinde etkili olabileceği düşünülmektedir. Solunum yolu epitellerinde bulunan GAL, PHI ve ENK peptidleri, düzenleyici peptid hormonların ya da nörotransmitterlerin lokal olarak harekete geçirilmesinde de etkili olabilirler.
