Öz

Bu çalışma liderlik kavramı ve Aydın ili Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü okullarında algılamalarını belirlemeye yönelik bir ampirik çalışmayı içermektedir. 391 yönetici üzerinde yapılan araştırma sonuçları bay ve bayan yöneticilerin öncelikle Milli Eğitimde liderliğe gereksinim olduğu ve Milli Eğitim koşullarının lider yetiştirecek şekilde yeniden gözden geçirilmesi konusunda hem fikir olduklarını göstermektedir. Bu ve bu tür çalışmaların, Milli Eğitimde lider yetiştirmeye yönelik daha iyi bir ortam oluşturulması noktasında üst düzey yöneticilere, bürokrat ve siyasetçilere birer kaynak oluşturacağı umut edilmektedir
