Konya il merkezindeki 11–16 yaş grubu kız öğrencilerde sosyoekonomik durum, antropometrik vücut ölçümleri ve menarşla büyüme ve gelişmenin değerlendirilmesi

Özet Amaç: Bu çalışmada, sosyoekonomik düzey, menarş ve antropometrik ölçümlerle büyüme ve gelişmenin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Materyal ve Metot: Araştırma, Konya İl merkezinde yaşları 11–16 arasında olan, ilköğretim okulu ve lisede okuyan 194 kız öğrenci üzerinde gerçekleştirildi. Ölçüm yapılan okullardan Hasan Ali Yücel İlköğretim Okulu ve Karatay Lisesi sosyoekonomik düzeyi düşük olan okullar, Mareşal Mustafa Kemal İlköğretim Okulu ve Muhittin Güzelkılıç Lisesi sosyoekonomik düzeyi yüksek olan okullardı. Öğrencilerin ağırlığı, boyu, kol çevresi, baş çevresi, kalça çevresi ve bacak uzunluğu ölçüldü. Öğrenci ailelerinin sosyoekonomik durumları da büyüme ve gelişmeye katkısı açısından değerlendirildi. Bulgular: Menarş sosyoekonomik düzeyi yüksek olan kız öğrencilerde erken başlıyor, sosyoekonomik düzeyi düşük olan kız öğrencilerde ise daha geç başlıyordu. Bacak uzunluğu hariç bütün antropometrik ölçümler sosyoekonomik düzeyi yüksek öğrencilerde fazlaydı, bacak uzunluğu ise sosyoekonomik düzeyi düşük öğrencilerde fazlaydı. Sonuç: Bulgularımızın, Konya Bölgesi ortaöğretim kız çocuklarının büyüme ve gelişim takibinde referans bir çalışma olarak kullanılabileceği ve ülke standardı oluşturulmamış parametreler içinde yapılacak olan çalışmalara destek sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir. Anahtar kelimeler: Menarş, sosyoekonomik durum, antropometrik ölçüm Abstract The Evaluation of the Growing and Development among 11-16 Age Group Girl Students in the Centrum of Konya, Their Socio Economic Situations and Anthropometric Body Measurements and with menarche Objective: In this study, it was aimed to study the socio economic level, growing with menarche and antropometric measurements. Material and Methods: The study was performed in Konya among 194 girl students whose ages were ranged from 11to 16 from primary school and high school. Among the schools in which measurements were taken Hasan Ali Yücel primary school and Karatay High school were low socio economic level schools. Mareşal Mustafa Kemal primary school and Muhittin Güzelkılıç were socio economically high level schools. The weight of the students, arm circumference, height, head circumference, wrist circumference, and leg length were measured. The socio economic situations of the families are also considered since they may contribute to growing and development. Results: If the girls' socio economic situations are high, menarche starts early, if low it starts late. Except leg length all antropometric measurements were higher among students from high socio economic level. Leg length was longer in low level socio economic group students. Conclusion: It has been thought that our findings can be reference for the studies about the following of the growing and development among girl students in Konya and also support studies to form country standard.
