Scarlet Spur Elma Çeşidinde Aminoethoksivinilglisin (AVG) Uygulamalarının Hasat Önü Dökümü ve Meyve Kalitesi Üzerine Etkileri

Bu
çalışmada M26 anacı üzerine aşılı Scarlet Spur elma çeşidinde farklı dozlarda
AVG (aminoethoksivinilglisin) uygulamalarının hasat önü meyve dökümü üzerine
etkileri araştırılmıştır. Araştırmada AVG’nin 150, 300 ve 450 ppm‘lik dozları tahmini
hasat tarihinden 1 ay önce ağaçlara uygulanmıştır. AVG uygulamalarının hasadı
10 gün geciktirdiği saptanmıştır. Tüm AVG uygulamaları kontrol uygulamasına
göre kümülatif döküm yüzdesini önemli derecede azaltmıştır. Bununla birlikte
450 ppm AVG uygulaması (%3.76) hem kontrol (%59.94) hem de 150 ve 300 ppm AVG uygulamaları
(sırasıyla %19.05 ve %5.53) ile karşılaştırıldığında kümülatif döküm oranını
önemli düzeyde azalttığı saptanmıştır. Araştırmada toplam verim değerleri
incelendiğinde en düşük verim kontrol uygulamasında belirlenmiş, en yüksek
verim ise 450 ppm AVG uygulamasında elde edilmiştir. AVG uygulamaları arasında
meyve eni, meyve boyu ve meyve ağırlığı bakımından istatistik olarak önemli bir
fark saptanmamıştır. AVG uygulamalarının meyve eti sertliğini kontrole göre
önemli derecede arttırdığı belirlenmiştir. Meyve eti sertliği en yüksek
meyveler 450 ppm AVG uygulamasında (8.39 lb) elde edilirken, meyve eti sertliği
en düşük meyveler ise kontrol uygulamasında (7.51 lb) elde edilmiştir. Tüm AVG
uygulamalarının meyvelerde solunum hızı ve buna bağlı olarak etilen üretimini
azalttığı saptanmıştır. Araştırmada meyve üst kabuk rengi bakımından AVG
uygulamaları arasında istatistik olarak önemli bir fark saptanmamıştır.

The Effects of Aminoethoxyvinylglycine (AVG) Treatments on Preharvest Fruit Drop and Fruit Quality in Apple Cultivar ‘Scarlet Spur’

Öz

In this study, the effects of different doses of AVG (aminoethoxyvinylglycine) treatments on preharvest fruit drop in c.v. Scarlet Spur apple variety grafted on M 26 rootstock were investigated. In the study, doses of 150, 300 and 450 ppm of AVG were applied to trees a month before harvest. AVG treatments delayed the harvest time about 10 days. All AVG treatments significantly reduced the cumulative preharvest fruit drop compared to the control treatment. However, the 450 ppm of AVG (3.76%) significantly reduced the cumulative preharvest fruit drop compared to both control (59.94%) and doses of 150 and 300 ppm AVG (19.05% and 5.53%, respectively). Based on the total yield values, the lowest yield was determined in the control treatment and the highest yield was obtained from the treatment of 450 ppm AVG. There were no statistically significant differences between treatments in regard to fruit width, fruit height and fruit weight. It was determined that AVG treatments significantly increased fruit firmness compared to control. The highest fruit firmness was obtained from 450 ppm of AVG (8.39 lb) while the lowest fruit firmness was obtained from control treatment (7.51 lb). It was determined that all AVG treatments reduced respiration rate in fruits and accordingly ethylene production. There were no statistically significant differences between the treatments in terms of fruits color in the study.
