Effects of Foliar Application of Zinc in Yield and Yield Components of Wheat in Different Locations of Konya

Öz

This research was conducted to determine the effects of follar application of zinc doses as zinc sulphate on yield and yield components of "Gerek 79" wheat variety in different locations of Konya ecological conditions. The effect of zinc doses on the grain yield wasn't significant statistically. Howover, 10 kg/da ZnSO4 increased the grain yield with respect to control 67.01%, 27.07% and 36.47 respectively in Sarıcalar, Başarakavak and Konuklar locations. Ear number per square meter and plant hetht were the most varied components. Ear number per square meter and plant height were the least datas in control plots at each locations. These components were obtained increases with zinc applications.
