İş Zekâsı: Kavramsal Çerçeve, Bileşenler ve İşleyiş

Öz

Globalleşme ve teknolojik gelişmeler işletmelerin kurumsallaşmalarını pozitif yönde etkilerken, bilgi akış süreçlerinin daha karmaşık yapılar haline dönüşmesine neden olmuş ve bilgi kontrolü bir sorun haline gelmiştir. İş zekâsı sistemleri; teknolojik gelişmeler sonucu çeşitli düzenlemeler yoluyla oluşturulmuş bileşenleriyle; çeşitli veri kaynaklarından elde edilen verileri ayrıştırıp kümeleyerek bir düzen altında depolanması, depolanan verilerin istatistiki yöntemler ile ilişkilendirilmesi ve her düzeyde bilgi kullanıcısı için gerekli bilgilerin raporlanmasını sağlamaktadır. İş zekâsının başlıca bileşenleri; OLAP, OLTP veri madenciliği, veri depoları ve ETL araçları ile farklı amaçlar doğrultusunda çeşitli kaynaklardan elde edilmiş, çok sayıda veriyi işleme, sınıflandırma, analiz etme, rapor sunma gibi faaliyetlerle karar alma süreçlerinde ihtiyaç duyulan bilgileri sağlamaktadır. Dolayısıyla iş zekâsı sistemleri; günümüz işletmelerinin karar alma süreçlerini daha kaliteli hale getirmektedir.

Öz

Changes in organizations’s corporate structures led information processes are more sophisticated resulting that control of information has been an issue. Business intelligence BI systems along with its components developed via technology use provides data to be cleaned, clustered and stored under a specified order. Also BI systems provides information users at all levels to access reports they need .OLAP, OLTP, data mining, data warehouse and ETL tools are the major component of BI systems and they provide information for decision making process by maintaining extracting data from different sources, processing, classifying and analyzing data and reporting necessary information. BI systems help decision makers to ensure the decision making process’ quality
