Öz

Persistent Müllerian duct syndrome (PMDS) is a rare syndrome characterized by the presence of such structures of uterus, fallopian tubes and top 2/3 of the vagina in a male with normal phenotype. The syndrome is frequently seen in male form characterized by unilateral undescended testis and contralateral hernia uteri inguinalis or more rarely seen in female form characterized by Mullerian structures and bilateral undescended testes localized in ovarian position. In this paper, we report a patient with both PMDS and testicular cancer.

Testis tümörlü Persistan Müllerian Kanal Sendromu: Olgu sunumu

Öz

Persistan Müllerian kanal sendromu (PMKS), uterus, fallop tüpleri ve vajenin üst 2/3' ü gibi yapıların normal fenotipli bir erkekte bulunması ile karakterize nadir bir sendromdur. Sendrom sıklıkla tek taraflı inmemiş testis, karşı tarafta herni uteri inguinalisin olduğu erkek formu ya da daha nadir ovaryan pozisyonda yer alan bilateral inmemiş testis ve Müllerian yapıların olduğu dişi formu şeklinde ortaya çıkar. Bu yazıda testis tümörlü PMKS'li bir hasta sunulmaktadır.
