Exercise commitment is fundamental in understanding exercise participants' behavior in a physical activity environment. The Exercise Commitment Scale (ECS), a tool that measures commitment to exercise, one of the many variables that affect individuals' motivation to participate in exercise, is categorized into two dimensions and five determinants. This study conducted content and construct validity analyses of the 22-item exercise commitment scale. After the translation stage of the scale, content validity indices were calculated and evaluated at both scale and item levels. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was used for construct validity. The Turkish version of the instrument was designed and analyzed in two different measurement models with two dimensions and five determinants, as in the original. CFA results are reported comprehensively, and fit indices are interpreted.
