Almost five years after the COVID-19 pandemic exposed vulnerabilities in global crisis management, Future War and the Defence of Europe explores the European Union's readiness for emerging threats in an era of technological and geopolitical change. Across nine chapters, it examines the risks of integrating emerging technologies, historical and technological constraints, and the EU's preparedness for future crises.
