Verilerin değerlendirilmesi Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) 26.0 programı ile yapıldı. Öğrencilerin Sosyal Yetkinlik puan ortalamasının 20,43±4,93, paylaşım ihtiyacı puan ortalamasının 19,49±5,79, öğretmenlerle ilişki puan ortalamasının puan ortalamasının 9,18±3,05 ve sosyal izolasyon puan ortalamasının 20,39±11,33 ve toplam puan ortalamasının 75,61± 13,02 olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin bazı kişisel özellikleri sosyal medyaya yönelik tutumlarını etkilemezken, kullanılan sosyal medya türüne göre öğrencilerin sosyal medyaya yönelik tutumları üzerinde etkiye sahiptir.

With the developing technology, social media, which students actively use in daily life, is becoming increasingly popular. Emergency Aid and Disaster Management (EDM) students are also included in this situation, but there is no study in the literature investigating EDM students' social media use and opinions. The population of this descriptive cross-sectional study consisted of 145 students studying in the EDM department of a college. The aim of this study is to examine the factors affecting AYAY students' attitudes towards social media. The population of this descriptive cross-sectional study consists of 145 university students studying in the EDM department of a college. The data were collected by the researcher through face-to-face application of a 45-question questionnaire form. Data were evaluated with the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) 26.0 program. It was determined that the mean score of the students' Social Competence was 20,43±4,93, the mean score of the need for sharing was 19,49±5,79, the mean score of the relationship with teachers was 9,18±3,05 and the mean score of social isolation was 20,39±11,33. In addition, the total mean score of the Social Media Attitude Scale was 75.61± 13.02. While some personal characteristics of students do not affect their attitudes towards social media, the type of social media used has an effect on students' attitudes towards social media.
