EVALUATION OF OFFICIALS’ BEHAVIOURS IN THE PUBLIC SERVICE DELIVERY BY THE CITIZENS
Öz
Today‟s states develop a number of policies to render public service delivered to the citizens more qualified. By means of
these policies, it is tried to be provided that citizens are satisfied with the public service. What stands out in this process is
that relations between officials and citizens in public service delivery process directly affect quality of public service, namely,
citizen satisfaction with public services. While positive behaviours officials exhibit in this process increase citizen
satisfaction with public service, negative behaviours lead citizens to evaluate public service negatively, and therefore to see
that service of poor quality and to be dissatisfied with the service. In this study, we will try to put forward how officials‟
behaviours in service delivery in Nevsehir Provincial Directorate located in the central government organization affect public
service quality and satisfaction while citizens at the age of 18 and over within the boundary of Nevsehir city center benefit
from the general public services. In addition to this, it is also tried to be analysed whether participants evaluate officials‟
behaviours differently according to their education, age and income levels
