Robot Law

Öz

In many areas of daily life robots are already being used and in the future their use will increase. We will see robots being widely used in the fields of medicine, in the military and in industry; in the care of patients, the elderly and children, as well as performing general work tasks around the home. Definitely the use of robots will save on workforce costs and time but inevitably, legal issues will ensue. Problems expected to arise will concern responsibility relating to the robots’ behaviours, protection of privacy and security, intellectual property rights and ethics. At present, our country has no regulation relating to robots, but it is clear that there is going to be a need to either amend existing regulations or enact special codes specific to robots.

ROBOT HUKUKU

Öz

Robotlar günlük hayatımızda pek çok alanda kullanılmaktadır. Gelecekte robotların kullanımı daha da artacaktır. Tıp alanında, askeri alanda, sanayide, ev içinde hasta, yaşlı ve çocuk bakımında robotlar giderek daha yaygın şekilde kullanılacaktır. Robot kullanımının kuşkusuz işgücü, zaman ve masraftan kurtarıcı yönü olmakla birlikte beraberinde hukuki problemler gündeme gelecektir. Özellikle robotların fiillerinin sonuçlarından sorumluluk konusunda, mahremiyetin ve güvenliğin korunması konusunda, fikri mülkiyet hakları bakımından ve etik açıdan robotlar ile ilgili sorunlar çıkabilecektir. Ülkemizde henüz robotlara ilişkin kanuni düzenlemeler bulunmamaktadır. Bununla birlikte durum öyle gösteriyor ki yakın zamanda bu hususta ya mevcut kanunlarda değişiklik yapılması şeklinde ya da robotlara ilişkin özel kanunlar çıkarılarak hukuki düzenlemeler yapılmasına ihtiyaç olacaktır.
