Geomorphologically; The high karstic plateau, referred to as the Mardin-Midyat Threshold, was partially struck but uplift more as blocks as a result of the Arabian plate collided with Anatolian plate since Miocene and plunging underneath it. The majority of the Beyazsu basin consists of a plateau area with an average elevation of 900-1400 m. However, morphometric analysis shows that the elevation in the basin gradually increases to the northwest. 10 elevation steps from approximately 630 m to 1070 m have been identified within the basin. Elevation steps are changed around 50 meters. These elevation steps are explained by the uplift due to tectonic movements. Thus, the Beyazsu and Karasu rivers also have buried deep in the karstic platform and formed deep antesedant valleys with steep slopes.Fluvio-karstic depressions, canyon valleys, lapias, dolines and uvala formations, deposit cones and fans, questa structures and cave formations are the main geomorphological units in the basin. When the direction of the valley extending was examined, it was concluded that the meanders on the platform have been buried deep in time due to the antesedance and took the shape of a canyon. The surface flow is low due to the karstic structure on the Mardin-Midyat Threshold. This does not change even on rainy days. Most of the water infiltrates into the ground. Beyazsu karst spring with high water discharge in every period despite the effective summer temperature and drought in the basin. Even if there are fluctuations in water discharge depending on the season, average current values are around 3.8 m3/sec. As a result of our study, the excess amount of the flow of the Beyazsu spring was associated with the size of the recharge basin and the development of groundwater network and aquifers. In this study, the relationship between stream flow characteristics and meteorological events are tried to be explained. The chemical data and lithological properties of the Beyazsu source were correlated.
