The present study aimed to adapt the short form of Self-Efficacy for Parenting Tasks Index-Toddler Scale (SEPTI-TS), developed by Van Rijen, Gasanova, Boonstra, and Huijding (2014), to the Turkish culture. A total of 214 mothers with 24–48 months-old children participated in the study. In the adaptation process, the scale was first translated from the source language to the target language. Later, in light of the expert opinions and pilot study results, the Turkish form that secured the linguistic equivalence was finalized before the primary implementation. Confirmatory factor analysis was made to determine the scale's construct validity, and the results showed that the Turkish form consisted of four sub-dimensions. In addition to factor load values, the study also used specific fit indices that indicate the model-data fit. Cronbach Alpha coefficient was calculated for each of the four sub-dimensions of the scale. Then, the reliability coefficient was .91 for the overall scale using the stratified Cronbach Alpha function. The study's findings revealed that the Short Form of Self-Efficacy for Parenting Tasks Index-Toddler Scale was adapted to the Turkish culture as 24 items in four sub-dimensions and that the Turkish form is a valid and reliable instrument to determine parents' self-efficacy.
