Abstract

Becauseitmeans lots ofthingsto lotsof people, there hasbeenadisagreement overthe concept.Therearenumerous definitions of information literacy and theconcept is stillevolving. Thereisresultant ambiguity overthe concept.Theaim ofthisarticle isto clarify themain components of theconceptthroughtananalysis of itsvarious definitions, models,and standartsas well as otherliteracy concepts which areclosely linked to informationliteracy
