This study was planned with an aim to measure the life
qualities of those who are employed in Public Agencies or Institutions as
workers or public servants, who also received service models that were provided
by that Institution until his come of age according to the judgement on a
protection/care measure adopted in line with the additional Article 1 that was
added on the Law No. 2828 on Social Services on 1988 by the Law No. 3413. 101
individuals, who resigned from their jobs in social services institutions and
live and work in Ankara, were included in this research. For the research,
"General Information Form" and "SF36 Life Quality Scale"
were put to use. Correlation Analysis, T-Test, Mann Whitney Test, Kruksal
Wallis and ANOVA tests were adopted for data evaluation. According to the
correlation analysis that was conducted at the end of the research it was
concluded that there is a moderate uphill relationship between Social
Functioning and Roles (Emotional), there is not a statistically significant
difference between woman and men in terms of the scales of Physical
Functioning, Roles (Physical), Bodily Pain, Vitality (Energy), Social
Functioning and Roles (Emotional), there is a statistically significant difference
between two groups that are below 34 and above 35 in terms of Physical
Functioning scale, there is a statistically significant difference between
groups of different educational statuses at the time of resigning in terms of
Roles (Emotional), General Health and Mental Health scales and there is a
statistically significant difference between individuals of different
educational backgrounds in terms of Physical Functioning and General Health
scales.
