The aim of the current research is to evaluate the digitalization performance of universities from the perspective of students during the pandemic period. The meta-synthesis method was used in this research. Studies to be included in the research were obtained from EBSCO, ULAKBİM TR, Dergipark, Google Scholar and ResearchGate databases. Eleven studies whose full texts were available were used. Working groups in research; purposeful, criterion-based, non-random, convenient sampling, easily accessible, maximum diversity and snowball sampling. In the present study, thematic synthesis method was used in the analysis of the data. It has been determined that universities mostly use their own technological infrastructure as a learning environment in distance education. It has been observed that universities carry out the learning process both synchronously and asynchronously. It was seen that the participants stated that synchronous courses should be absolutely necessary and that synchronous courses are more beneficial. In the distance education process, it is seen that the homework type is frequently preferred among the evaluation forms of student success. The online exam is in second place and making a presentation in the lecture is in third place. Students stated that there was a decrease in their success in the distance education process. Among the reasons for the low success of the students are the high homework load, the inability to follow the lessons regularly, and the lessons not being effective and efficient.. In future research, the effectiveness of these training programs can be tested by preparing training programs that will increase the motivation of students.
