Beyit Dize Gazel Psödogazel Karşılaştırmalı Analiz Doğu Estetiği Batı Poetikası Bütün ve Parçalar
This paper provides a comparative analysis of three poems—one is an original gazelle by Mehmed Mejli Guranija and the other two are pseudo-gazelles by Stanko Vraz and Musa Ćazim Ćatić—inductively revealing general aesthetic and poetic differences in the European poetry, based on the holistic principles of aesthetic organicism and diwan poetry, which is loyal to the principle of supremacy of details over the whole. Therefore, the focus of the study is the beit as an individual unit of meaning, from whose norms Vraz and Ćatić deviate in the direction of subordination of the whole to its constituent parts, although both of them wrote poems that formally resembled gazelles. The essence of these distinctions could not be elaborated without looking at the cultural background of the aesthetic phenomena in question.
