Öz

The study examines the perceptions of personnel in hospitality companies about supervisor and peer support on job performance via the mediating roles of job and life satisfaction. Data are gathered from the four and five-star hotel serving in Cappadocia region. The analyses show that supervisor support positively affects job and life satisfaction and peer support affects only life satisfaction. Although supervisor and peer support have no direct influences on job performance, supervisor support affects it via job and life satisfaction and peer support affects it only via life satisfaction. In addition, it is found out in the study that job satisfaction has significant effects on life satisfaction

LİDER DESTEĞİ VE İŞ ARKADAŞLARI DESTEĞİNİN İŞ PERFORMANSI ÜZERİNE ETKİLERİ: İŞ TATMİNİ VE YAŞAM TATMİNİNİN ARACI ROLÜ

Öz

 Bu çalışmada konaklama işletmelerinde personelin lider desteği ve iş arkadaşları desteğine ilişkin algıla-rının, iş performanslarına yönelik etkisinde iş ve yaşam tatminlerinin aracı rolü incelenmiştir. Veriler, Kapadokya Bölgesinde yer alan dört ve beş yıldızlı otel çalışanlarından elde edilmiştir. Araştırma sonu-cunda, lider desteğinin iş tatminini ve yaşam tatminini pozitif yönde etkilediği, iş arkadaşları desteğinin ise sadece yaşam tatminini etkilediği ortaya çıkmıştır. Lider desteği ile iş arkadaşları desteğinin iş per-formansı üzerinde direkt bir etkisi bulunmadığı ancak lider desteğinin iş tatmini ve yaşam tatmini aracılı-ğıyla, iş arkadaşları desteğinin ise yaşam tatmini aracılığıyla iş performansını etkilediği görülmüştür. Ay-rıca iş tatmininin yaşam tatmini üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisi olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
