THE MEDIATING ROLE OF PSYCHOLOGICAL RESILIENCE ON THE CORRELATION BETWEEN WORKLOAD PERCEPTION AND PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING OF MEDICAL SECRETARIES

Workload has significant effects on psychological resilience and well-being of medical employees, healthcare workers etc. The purpose of this study is to analyze the correlations between workload perception, psychological well-being, and psychological resilience of medical secretaries etc., in Turkiye. The findings of the study revealed that there is a full mediating effect of psychological resilience on the correlation between workload perception and psychological well-being. And more findings revealed that there is also a negative correlation between perceived workload, psychological resilience, and psychological well-being. These findings lead to revelations such as all paths between the variables were statistically significant, the effect of psychological resilience on psychological well-being was statistically insignificant. The results of the present study underlined the importance of workload perception and revealed the mediating role of psychological resilience on the correlation between workload and psychological well-being.
