A case report: The role of amnioreduction plus septostomy in management of twin twin transfusion syndrome

Öz

We have reported our experience with intentional puncture of the intervening membrane (septostomy)in combination with amnioreduction in a severe twin to twin transfusion syndrome case. One of the fetuses (in the form of stuck twin) had anydramnios and nonvisible bladder. The other fetuse had anyhydramnios and enlarged bladder. We support thatamniotic septostomy plus amnioreduction is a basic and promising method for the management of this syndrome.

İkiz-ikize transfüzyon sendromunun tedavisinde tek bir amnioredüksiyon + septostominin tedavisindeki yeri : Olgu sunumu

Öz

Biz ciddi bir ikiz-ikize transfüzyon sendromu olgusunda yaptığımız amnioredüksiyonla kombine olarak ikizler arası membranın delinmesi (septostomi) girişimi hakkındaki deneyimimizi bildirdik. Olgumuzda fetüslerden birinde mesane görüntülenememekte ve anhidramnios gelişmişken (sıkışmış ikiz), diğer fetüste büyük bir mesane ve polihidramnios mevcut idi. Biz yaptığımız girişim sonrası gebeliğin sonucunu gözlemledik. Sonuç olarak uyguladığımız (prosedürün septostomi+ amnioredüksiyon) bu sendromun tedavisinde basit ve güvenli bir metod olduğunu düşünmekteyiz.
