Olgu sunumu: Norplant ile görülen bir gebelik olgusu

Öz

Geri dönüşümlü kontraseptif yöntemlerin en etkililerinden biri olan Norplant kullanıcılarında istenmeyen gebelik hızı 100 kadın yılı için 0.26 olup bu oran 0.16 olan tüp ligasyonu oranına yakındır. Literatürde norplant ile saptanan beş yıllık kümülatif gebelik hızı ise %1 civarındadır. Zeynep Kamil Kadın ve Çocuk Hastalıkları Hastanesi Aile Planlaması Kliniğimizde norplant uygulanmış hasta serimizde saptadığımız bir gebelik olgusunu sunmaktayız.

Öz

Norplant, one of the most effective reversible contraceptive method has a unwanted pregnancy rate of 0.26 for hundred woman year among its users, when compared to the rate of tubal ligation of 0.16. In literature, five year cumulative unwanted pregnancy rate for Norplant is 1%. Here is presented an unwanted pregnancy case with Norplant from our Zeynep Kamil Maternity and Child Care Hospital Family Planning Clinic series.
