Bio
Mehmet Akman was born in 1990. He has BSc, MSc and PhD degrees from the Istanbul Technical University (ITU) - Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering department. He worked as a research assistant at ITU and Piri Reis University. He currently works at Muğla SK University. Mehmet Akman is a researcher in ship energy efficiency, emission control, heat-to-power technologies, and modelling and simulation of thermal energy systems. He currently works on the marine waste heat recovery and modelling of energy management systems for ships.
