Yunus Emre Demir is a doctoral researcher in the Institute of Education at the University of Plymouth specialising in ‘twice-exceptionality’ having gained a master`s degree in Special Educational Needs and Disability at Anglia Ruskin University in the UK. Yunus previously taught in special and primary education in Turkey and in a joint project between the EU and Turkish Ministry of Education ‘Promoting Integration of Syrian Children into Turkish Education System’.
