Bio

Erkan Aksoy , who is a chemist, completed his bachelor degree and MSc in Pamukkale University Chemistry Department in 2012 and 2015, respectively. He completed his doctoral studies in September 2020, which he started in 2015 at Ege University Solar Energy Institute . PhD thesis title ; Synthesis and Photophysical Characterization of Perylene diimide Derivatives for Organic Photonic Systems.

During his PhD studies, he researched on the excited state exciton dynamics of perylene diimide derivatives by using ultrafast pump probe transient absorption spectroscopy at Physics department at Durham University in Durham (in the OEM research group), England, with the support of the TUBITAK-BIDEB 2214 A project (11 months). He also worked as a scholar researcher in more than one TUBITAK projects and in a project supported by the Ministry of Development. Since September 2020, he continues as a post doctoral researcher at Photonics Department of the Izmir Institute of Technology within the scope of the TUBITAK project.
