I'm an urban planner, a Ph.D student at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Urban Studies Programme and a research assistant at Istanbul Gelisim University Fine Arts Faculty. I work on capitalist urbanism, neoliberal urban policies, gentrification, sharing economy platforms (such as Airbnb) and urban space quality. Also, I work as a scholarship researcher at the reserach project (Drivers and Scenarios for the Reconfiguration of Historic City Centers: The Case of Beyoğlu Istanbul) supported by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) by project number 117K317.
