KORCAN GÜLFİDAN, B.sc., M.sc., PhD
Received his bachelor degree from Kocaeli University, Faculty of Architecture and Design (2013). Earned his MSc. (2015) and PhD (2022) in interior architecture from Institute of Science and Technology at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. He had worked as a Research Assistant at Mimar Sinan University (2013-2022) and had been a guest researcher at an academic group named Material Balance in the years he was a visiting PhD Student at Politecnico di Milano (2019-2020). His major research interests include generative design, symmetry in art, architecture and nature and algorithm aided design. Currently, he works as an Assistant Professor at Istinye University, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture, Istanbul, TURKEY. e-mail:korcangulfidan@gmail.com
