Bio

Hakan Mutlu was born in Ankara. He finished his first grade in Uzbekistan and completed his primary, elementary and high school education in Ankara. In 2011, he graduated from the Department of Anthropology at Ankara University, Faculty of Letters. Same year, he started his Master's at the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen in Germany. In 2014, he earned the title Master of Science (M.Sc.) after completing his Master's at the Palaeoanthropology Branch of the Institute for Archaeological Sciences (Institut für Naturwissenschaftliche Archäologie). Again in 2014, he started working as a research assistant in the Palaeoanthropology Branch of the Department of Anthropology at the Faculty of Letters, where he originally graduated from. At the end of the same year, he started his doctorate at the Ankara University, Graduate School of Social Sciences. He finished his doctorate in 2022.

Hakan Mutlu is married and a father of one child. He has a special interest in music, vocal acting, video games and culinary.
