Nyasha Sakadzo is a lecturer at Manicaland State University of Applied Sciences in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Development. He is a holder of a Msc Crop protection degree, a Bsc Agronomy Honours degree and a Post Grade Diploma in Education. Currently, a phd student with Great Zimbabwe University under the Department of Soil and Plant Sciences and his research topic is: Evaluation of Dhlakama sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L.) variety for sorgoleone use in managing selected insect pests and diseases of sorghum in Zimbabwean dryland regions. His passion is in crop protection through the use of IKS where he has published articles in the use of Ethnobotanicals (biopesticides and bioherbicides) extracts for weed, insect pests and disease management.
