Dr. Gökhan SÜRÜCÜ has completed his undergraduate education on Physics at Gazi University in 2006. He started his Master’s degree in the same university and on the same programme in 2007. He has finished the programme successfully with the thesis named “THE INVESTIGATION OF THE STRUCTURAL, ELASTIC, THERMODYNAMIC AND VIBRATIONAL PROPERTIES OF SOME A3B (L12) TYPE ALLOYS USING AB INITIO METHOD“. In 2010, he has been accepted to PhD programme on Physics at Gazi University. He has achieved his PhD title with the thesis “THE INVESTIGATION OF W1-xTcxB2 (x =0.1~0.9), Pd3X (x= Ti, Zr, Hf) ALLOYS AND Tin+1GaNn (n=1, 2, 3) COMPOUNDS USING AB-INITIO METHODS“. His research fields are “Material Science, Solar Cells, Density Functional Theory and Nano Technology”. He both studied and worked during the whole post-graduate education period. He worked as an assistant at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Arts and Sciences in Gazi University between 2007-2008. During this period he has contributed to Physics I lessons in the mechanic labs. Then, he has started to work as an instructor in Çankaya University at the Department of Math-Computer. He has undertaken Physics I and II lessons in all the mechanic and electric labs. Between 2011-2013 he give lecture on Physics, Electric, Electronic and Math in Kapadokya University. In 2014, he has been appointed to Ahi Evran University as an Assistant Professor. He has ben carrying on his research programmes in Middle East Technical University as a visiting scholar since 2016. He is using all Windows and Linux operating systems and server systems professionally. He is also using the programmes such as FORTRAN, C, C++, PASCAL, BASIC, Shell programming, web page designing programmes, VASP, Siesta, CASTEP, PWSCF, etc. He knows English as a foreign language.
