Anadolu Bil Vocational School Journal is a peer-reviewed journal that includes original scientific research and application studies and aims to appeal to both researchers and academicians in practice with this quality.
ABMYO Magazine has been continuing its activities in the field of Science since 2021. Our Journal, which accepted articles from all fields until 2021, decided to publish in the field of Science and published two issues as January-March 2022 and April-December 2022 in this transformation process. As of 2023, it will continue to broadcast twice a year, in January-July and August-December.
Anadolu Bil Vocational School Journal is published every six months. Anadolu Bil Vocational School Journal accepts articles in the basic field of science. It is a periodical publication in which original Turkish and English scientific articles in the field of science are published. The copyright of the articles published in this journal belongs to Anadolu Bil Vocational School. All rights arising from the Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works are reserved in relation to this publication. It cannot be reproduced without the permission of the College, except for the quotations to be made for the promotion. The opinions in the articles published in this journal belong to their authors. The college does not accept any responsibility for these views.
ABMYO Magazine has been continuing its activities in the field of Science since 2021.
Articles published in the journal cannot be published or presented as papers anywhere else without the permission of the editorial works. Articles published in whole or in part cannot be used anywhere without citation. The content of the articles submitted to the journal must be original, not previously published anywhere, or not submitted for publication. The authors in the article should have a consensus on the order of
names. The articles submitted toABMYO Journal should be prepared in the American Psychological Association (APA) style in the arrangement of the reference system, footnote display and bibliography. The 6th edition of the APA should be the version that the authors will consider. However, there are also issues that have been adapted to Turkish and are exceptions to the APA while editing the bibliography. In Turkish, dates containing days and months should be written first as days and then as months (for example, February 12)
1. Article Types
The articles will be evaluated in two groups: The articles submitted to the
journal should be studies with the following characteristics:
- Studies related to original research, - Studies explaining the application examples with a scientific approach,
- Compilation studies evaluating important developments and revealing deficiencies in a certain subject,
- Scientific articles prepared by using some or all of the results obtained from the thesis study, in which the doctoral student and thesis advisor are co-authors. The articles published in the Journal of
ABMYO will be open to discussion from the date of publication until the next issue of the journal. Criticisms of the articles will be published in the journal.
The articles should be no more than 12 pages. Articles must be delivered at least in Word 6.0/95 format on diskette or CD or sent to ABMYO Magazine e-mail address. Originally prepared articles will be printed by shrinking by 20%, so figures and tables should be prepared with this situation in mind. Since ABMYO Magazine is printed in black and white, the pictures, photographs, figures or graphics in the article sent should not be colored.
2. Page Layout
Page size should be A4 paper size, 2 cm from the right and left; 2.5 cm from the top; 3 cm from the bottom. The text should be written as right and left based (justify), abstract and abstract as a single interval, the main text should be written with 1.5 intervals, and one line of space should be left between the paragraphs. The text other than the text whose format is specified such as title, shape name, table name should be written in Times New Roman font with 12 font size.
3. Article Title
The title of the article should reflect the content of the text, should not exceed 70 letters, and unnecessary extensions should be avoided; it should be written in Times New Roman font in 20 font size and left aligned, and only the first letter of the title should be capitalized. The title should be written after leaving 6 cm of space from the upper border of the page.
4. Author Name
The author name should be 10 cm below the upper limit of the page. Times New Roman, 12 pt, with the first letter and surname of the author in uppercase, should be written in bold and on the right. In case the name of the author is more than one, each of the names shall be given a number in the form of an exponent and their institutions shall be specified in the footnote. An asterisk (*) mark will be placed next to the name of the author to whom the correspondence will be made and his institution, phone number, e-mail address, 1st It should be written 2 cm above the bottom as a footer at the bottom of the page, with a line drawn, in 10 font size, Times New Roman and italic format.
5. Articles submitted for publication in the journal should not have been published anywhere before or should not be in the evaluation stage in another publication organ.
6. Papers presented or to be presented at scientific events such as any symposium, congress, conference, etc. are sent to the referee evaluation, provided that they are
not published.
7. Abbreviations should be standard abbreviations of the relevant field of science and should be defined where they first appear in the text.
8. Turkish Abstract; It should include the objectives of the study, the methods used, the results reached, the evaluations and should be between 200-250 words. As such, the summary should be able to give an idea about the work done. The abstract should be written in Times New Roman font with 12 points, after leaving a 13 cm space from the upper border of the page in italics, and a single space should be left between the lines. The word summary should be bold.
9. Keywords
After the abstract and abstract sections, a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 keywords should be given in order to classify the subject of the article. Keywords should be sorted according to their importance, with Times New Roman font, lowercase, Turkish keywords should be written in 12 font size, English keywords should be written in 11 font size and italics. Only keywords and keywords should be written in bold and italics. A line of space should be left between the Turkish abstract and the keywords and between the abstract and the keywords. Except for proper names, keywords shall be written in lowercase letters.
10.English Title of the Article
The English title of the article should be written in Times New Roman font with 16 font in bold and sideways to the left, with only the first letter capitalized. It should be the same as the Turkish title.
11.Abstract in English
The abstract in English should be prepared between the same 200-250 words as the Turkish abstract, including the objectives of the study, the methods used in the article, the results reached and the evaluations. The abstract should be written in Times New Roman font with 11 pt, italic and a single spacing between the lines, only the word abstract should be 12 pt and bold. It should be the same as the Turkish abstract.
12. Headings
Home Title The Introduction section should be a section that directly concerns the article and does not contain long histories. All main titles should be written in Times New Roman format with 14 font size, bold and only the first letter of the first word of the title should be capitalized. No number or any sign should be placed in front of any header. There should be no spaces before the main titles, the article text should start without leaving a space after the main title, the text font should be Times New Roman and 12 points.
Search Title
When it is necessary to write an intermediate title without writing any text after the
main title, there will be no spaces in between. Intermediate titles should be written in Times New Roman format, 12 font size, bold, and only the first letter of the first word of the title should be capitalized. The article text should start without leaving a space after the subtitle. After any text is written, a space should be left before the intermediate titles to be placed.
Subtitle
Subtitles should be written at the beginning of the paragraph and separated from the text by a line (-) sign and the text should continue right next to it. The subtitle should be italicized in Times New Roman font, 12 pt, and only the first letter of the first word should be capitalized.
13. Figures
The figures in the text should be centered in a way that does not exceed the text limits. The figures must be clear and legible. Since the spring will be reduced by 20% during printing, the shape sizes should be determined taking this into account. Shapes must be either drawn with a drawing program or scanned with a resolution of at least 300dpi if scanned. The size of the text and numbers in the graphic, picture and text boxes shown as a figure should not be less than the size of a 9-point font written in Times New Roman character in the article. Figure no and names should be centered below the figure, single-spaced and italicized with Times New Roman 12 pt, and only the first letter of the first word should be uppercase. A line of space should be left before the shape, before and after the shape name. When placing figures in the text, reference must be made beforet he figure.
14.Pictures and Photographs
pictures and photographs are scanned, they must be scanned with a resolution of at least 300 dpi, must be referenced in the text, and must be numbered together with the figures. References must be made when placing in the text.
15.Tables and Equations
The tables in the text should be centered in a way that does not exceed the text limits. Table numbers and names should be centered and italicized on the table with a single interval and Times New Roman 12 font size, so that only the first letter of the first word is uppercase. When writing the table name, one line should be left at the top and bottom, and one line should be left after the table. Tables must be referenced in the text before the table. The figures
and texts in the rows and columns of the table should be written in Times New Roman 12 font size. However, in compulsory cases, the font size can be reduced to at least 9 points, not exceeding the font limits. Both the bottom and top of the first line with the parameters and names in the table should be covered with a 1.5-point line. In the following lines, one more line should be added below the last line without using any horizontal and vertical lines and the table should be limited.
The equations to be written in thetext should be written leftward with the equation editor in the word writing program and the equations should be numbered in parentheses based on the right.
16. Symbols
If the article contains a large number of symbolsor if the symbols in the article need to be explained, the symbols should be written in accordance with the international standard, before the sources, with Times New Roman 11 pt and italics.
In the article, a dot should be used in the decimal representation, a comma or dot should not be used when separating thousands, and if necessary, a single space should be used.
17.Articles are published with the positive opinion of at least two referees.
18. Manuscripts that are decided to be corrected for publicationmust be sent to the Editorial Board again within 5 days at the latest (including the postal period) by their authors. The articles submitted within the specified period are queued for publication in the next period. The text may be re-examined by the referees requesting the changes.
19. Articles approved by the referee are published in order of the completion dates of thereports.
20. The articles to be sent to the journal should be submitted through DERGİPARK. The cover page should include the names and surnames of the authors, the full names of the articles, the institutions and titles they are affiliated with, their work-mobile phones and e-mail addresses. Author information should not be included in the full text.
21. Authors are deemed to have transferred their copyrights to Istanbul Aydın University by sending their publications to Istanbul Aydın University Journal. In addition, the copyright transfer form must be uploaded together with the full text and cover page in DERGİPARK.
22. Two journals are sent free of charge to the authors whose articles are published in the journal. In addition, royalties are not paid.
23.In order to ensure the sharing of academic information at national and international level, the articles passed by the Arbitration Board to be published in the Journal of Istanbul Aydın University may be published on the website of the University.
24. Articles submitted to the journal are not returned even if they are not published.
Resources
Display of sources in the text: References in the article; either ...Smith (1980)... in the sentence, either ...(Smit, 1980; Adams, 1981) or (Smith et al., 1980) by specifying the author's surname and year of publication at the end of the sentence. In sources with two authors, the surnames of both authors should be written (Snell and Ettre, 1971), if sources with more than two authors are to be shown in parentheses, the abbreviation "" et al., "" should be used (Li et al., 1998), and Li et al. (1998) should be used outside the parentheses. At the end of the
article text, there should be a resources section and alphabetical order should be made from A to Z according to the author's surname. References should be written in Times New Roman 11 pt, only the name of the magazine, book or symposium should be in italics. In the sources, the volume number, if any, should be written in dark color and the number number should be written in normal character. The names of the journals containing the national-international articles in the references section should be written clearly, not in abbreviated form. (For example, the name of the journal is Wat. It should be written as Water Resources, not Res.).
- The names of books, magazines and movies, TV programs are written in italics in the text. For example, in the Politics Square Program (…).
-In addition, when a new or technical term is first mentioned in the text, italics can be written, then italics are not written. For example, after the 1990s, reception studies also increased in Turkey.
- Expressions and abbreviations that are common in English are not written in italics. An italic is not written in the text to emphasize a statement more.
- Organization abbreviations: The name should be clearly written in the first excerpt; if the reader knows the abbreviation closely, the abbreviation should be used in the following ones. For example:

40 or more quoted words, they are written from the inside, with a single or frequent line spacing, with a font smaller than the main text (10 or 11 points), without italics, without quotes. Finally, the page number is written in the paragraph

Ethics In the scientific articles sent to ABMYOD, the guidelines related to Scientific Research and Publication Ethics of Higher Education Institutions, ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) recommendations and COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics)'s International Standards for Editors and Authors should be taken into account. Plagiarism, forgery or deception in data, repetition of publications, publishing by splitting and inclusion of people who do not contribute to the research among the authors are unacceptable practices within the scope of ethical rules. In case of any ethical irregularity related to these and similar practices, the necessary legal actions will be taken.
a) Plagiarism: Making others' original ideas, methods, data or works look like their own work in whole or in part without reference to scientific rules is handled within the scope of plagiarism. In order to avoid plagiarism, authors should refer to scientific rules and pay attention to the source representation of all scientific articles in their research.
b) Forgery of Data: Using data that does not actually exist or has been changed in scientific research is considered within the scope of data forgery. Authors should collect their data within the ethical rules and analyze them without subjecting them to a change that will affect validity and reliability in the process.
c) Distortion: Changing the records or data obtained from the research, pretending that the devices or materials not used in the research have been used, changing or shaping the research results in line with the interests of the individuals and organizations supported are handled within the scope of distortion. Authors should be honest, objective and transparent in the information they provide about the research process. They should avoid violating the ethical rules.
d) Repetition of Publication: Presenting the same publication as separate publications without referring to previous publications is handled within the scope of repetition of publication. The responsibility for the publication of the publications submitted for evaluation elsewhere or in the evaluation process belongs entirely to the authors. Authors should avoid repetition and take care to send their original and original research.
e) Splitting Publishing: The results of a research are divided into parts in a way that disrupts the integrity of the research and improperly and published in more than one number to present these publications as separate publications. Authors should consider the integrity of the research and avoid chapters that will affect the
results.
f) Authorship: Including people who have not contributed to the research among the authors or not including people who have contributed to the research is handled within the scope of unfair authorship. All authors should have contributed adequately to the stages of planning, design, data collection, analysis, evaluation, preparation for publication and finalization of the research.
Ethics Committee Permission
"Ethics Committee Permission" is required for the following researches. Approved "Ethics Committee Permission" should be obtained from the institution where the article author is employed. The researches that require the permission of the Ethics Committee are as follows:
· All kinds of researches carried out with qualitative or quantitative approaches that require the collection of data from the participants using questionnaires, interviews, focus group studies, observations, experiments, interview techniques,
· The use of humans and animals (including materials/data) for experimental or other scientific purposes, · Clinical researches on humans,
· Research on animals,
· Retrospective studies in accordance with the law on the protection of personal data,
·
In addition;
· It is stated that the "Informed Consent Form" is obtained in case reports,
· Permission is obtained and stated from the owners for the use of scales, surveys, photographs belonging to others,
· It is stated that the copyright regulations for the ideas and works of art used are complied with.
In these articles, "Ethics Committee Permission" should definitely be stated in the article. The articles should include a statement that the Research and Publication Ethics are complied with.
