Plagiarism Policy

Manuscripts are scanned by the Dergipark system with the Intihal.net programme at the submission stage. If plagiarism/self-plagiarism is detected, the authors are informed and the article is returned.

Note: Plagiarism rates may be high due to the default settings of the software. At this stage, the Assistant Editors assess the appropriateness of the rate by examining the similarities detected in the report rather than the similarity rate of the report. If necessary, the Assistant Editors will re-scan the papers using Turnitin's plagiarism scanner. Articles with a maximum similarity rate of 15% (excluding bibliographic material, citations, and 2% of minor sources) may continue in the process.
