Similarity Detection Policy

In terms of similarity, AFD scans articles via intihal.net when they are uploaded to the dergipark system. Studies that are found to have a similarity rate above the specified rate (20%) will be rejected or the author will be asked to make corrections upon the recommendation of the editorial board.
It is primarily the responsibility of the authors to ensure that the articles sent to AFD meet the similarity requirement. However, AFD determines the similarity rate of studies both before evaluation (intihal.net) and before publication (İthenticate) with different programs. Studies that do not comply with research publication ethics or carry a risk of plagiarism are terminated at any stage of the process. In addition, readers should report any significant error, mistake, plagiarism, etc. in a study published in AFD to ajp@erzurum.edu.tr.
