Evaluation Process

The author(s) stated that during the evaluation process of the article in the Journal of the Academic Elegance, the article will not be sent to any other publication in whole or in part and that it has not been published before, all author (s) have contributed to the planning, preparation, research and analysis of the study, text, figure, drawing, It accepts that its findings and results are made in accordance with the rules of academic publication and do not contain plagiarism, that the submitted article is waived from the copyrights and assumes all responsibility and transfers the publication rights to the Journal of the Academic Elegance on the condition that its intellectual property rights are reserved.

ARTICLE ASSESSMENT PROCESS

An article submitted by the author is reviewed by the executive editor within seven days from the date of submission for whether the article, copyright agreement and plagiarism report (Turnitin) were submitted in a complete and proper manner. If these requested files are sent completely and properly, the article is evaluated in terms of whether it is suitable for the publication line of the journal in the second stage. In this process, if the article is not in line with the publication line, it is returned to the author. If the article conforms to the publication line, it is evaluated in terms of whether it was sent in accordance with the template. If the article is not adapted to the template and sent, it is not included in the evaluation process. In this process, the author is expected to upload an article to the system in accordance with the conditions set by the journal. If the article is prepared and sent in accordance with the template, in the last stage, the article should be written about the journal's publication principles, spelling rules, abstract, abstract, extended abstract, bibliography representation, etc. It is examined from aspects. If there is a problem with the article in these details, the author is asked to complete these points and is asked to send the article again completely within the given time. The article, which passes all these stages, is sent to two referees suitable for the study within the second 7-day period in order to check its scientific competence by the editor. The evaluation period of the referees is 15-day. If there is an arbitrator who does not complete his / her referee duty within this period, an additional 7-day period may be given to the referee to complete the evaluation. If the referee does not fulfil his duty within this period, a new referee is appointed instead. If the reports from at least two referees are positive, the article is taken to the publishing stage. If one of the referee reports is positive and the other is negative, the article is sent to a third referee. If the third referee report is negative, the article is rejected. If the evaluation of the third referee is positive or if the referee reports on the article are deemed insufficient by the editorial board, the final decision regarding the publication of the article is given by the editorial board consisting of the editors. In cases where the referee reports are insufficient and unsatisfactory and the English editor deems the abstract and extended abstracts insufficient, the final decision on the article is also made by the editorial board. An article that passes all these stages is added to the nearest issue for publication. If there is no space in the relevant number, the publication of the article is moved to the next issue. In this case and during the entire evaluation process, the author has the right to withdraw the article if the author wishes. However, this situation must be reported to the journal. An average of 3 months is anticipated for all these processes from the date of submission of the article to the date of acceptance for publication.

PUBLICATION FEE

NOTE:
The Journal of the Academic Elegance is a paid journal. This service fee, which is taken due to the evaluation of the articles by the referees and the works and procedures in the publishing process, is requested from the authors during the submission of their articles to the journal. Therefore, the referees are paid for their services. After this fee received during the article submission stage, the article is only taken into the evaluation process. If the article is "rejected" at the end of the process, the fee charged will not be refunded. The author is deemed to have accepted this situation in the first place. The service fee (including VAT) requested for article publication is 450 TL.

This application will start on 1 December 2020. Authors who will submit articles as of the aforementioned date will be subject to this process. Authors who submitted articles before this date are exempted from this application.

In the process of submitting the article, the author must deposit the service fee in the account below and send the transaction receipt to academicelegance@gmail.com.

MAKALE DEĞERLENDİRME SÜRECİ

Yazar tarafından gönderilen bir makale, gönderim tarihinden itibaren 10 gün içinde dergi sekreteri tarafından makalenin, telif sözleşmesinin ve benzerlik raporunun (Turnitin programı) eksiksiz ve düzgün bir şekilde gönderilip gönderilmediği yönünden incelenir. İstenilen bu dosyalar eksiksiz ve düzgün bir şekilde gönderilmiş ise makale; ikinci aşamada derginin yayın çizgisine uygun olup olmadığı yönünden değerlendirilir. Bu süreçte makale yayın çizgisine uygun değilse yazara iade edilir. Makale yayın çizgisine uygun ise şablona uygun bir şekilde gönderilip gönderilmediği yönünden değerlendirilir. Şayet makale şablona uyarlanıp gönderilmemiş ise değerlendirme sürecine alınmaz. Bu süreçte yazarın derginin belirlediği şartlara uygun bir şekilde sisteme makale yüklemesi beklenir. Makale şablona uygun bir şekilde hazırlanıp gönderilmiş ise son aşamada makale derginin yayın ilkeleri, yazım kuralları, öz, abstract, extented abstract, kaynakça gösterimi vb. yönlerden incelenir. Bu ayrıntılarda makalede bir sorun varsa yazarın bu hususları tamamlaması istenir ve verilen süre içerisinde eksiksiz bir şekilde yeniden makaleyi göndermesi istenir.
Tüm bu aşamaları geçen makale, editör tarafından bilimsel yeterliliğinin denetlenmesi amacıyla ikinci 7 günlük süre içerisinde çalışmaya uygun iki hakeme değerlendirmeleri için gönderilir. Hakemlerin değerlendirme süreleri 15 gündür. Bu süre zarfında hakemlik görevini tamamlamayan bir hakem olursa ilgili hakeme değerlendirmeyi tamamlaması için 7 günlük ek süre verilebilir. Bu süre zarfında hakem görevini yerine getirmezse yerine yeni bir hakem ataması yapılır. En az iki hakemden gelen raporlar olumlu ise makale yayın aşamasına alınır. Hakem raporlarından birisi olumlu diğeri olumsuz ise makale üçüncü bir hakeme gönderilir. Üçüncü hakem raporu da olumsuz ise makale ret edilir. Üçüncü hakemin değerlendirmesi olumlu ise makaleyle ilgili hakem raporları dergi alan editörlerinden oluşan Editörler Kurulu tarafından incelenir. Makalenin yayınlanmasıyla ilgili nihai karar alan editörlerinden oluşan Editörler Kurulu tarafından verilir. Hakem raporlarının yetersiz ve tatmin etmekten uzak olması veya İngilizce editör tarafından abstract ve extented abstract’ın yetersiz görülmesi hallerinde de yine makaleyle ilgili son karar Editörler Kurulu tarafından verilir. Tüm bu aşamalardan geçen bir makale en yakın sayıya yayınlanmak üzere eklenir. İlgili sayıda yer kalmaması halinde makalenin yayımı bir sonraki sayıya kaydırılır. Bu durumda ve tüm değerlendirme sürecinde yazar isterse makalesini geri çekme hakkına sahiptir. Ancak bu durumu dergiye bildirmesi gerekir. Makale gönderim tarihinden makalenin yayına kabul tarihine kadar tüm bu işlemler için ortalama 3 aylık bir süre öngörülmektedir.
