The Akif journal aims to contribute to science by publishing high-quality publications of scientific importance. For this purpose, it publishes original research articles, reviews, case reports, and letters to the editor in all fields related to religious studies and Islamic studies in social sciences.
Akif is an independent, double-blind peer-reviewed, open access, and online journal that aims to publish articles in all related religious studies and theology. Articles should contain original data that has not been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts that are deemed suitable for Akif journal submission rules and the scope of the journal are sent to at least two referees who are experts in their fields for scientific evaluation. The members of the Editorial Board of Akif journal consider the referees' comments on each submission. The final decision for all submitted manuscripts belongs to the Editor-in-Chief. The Editorial Board of Akif journal is committed to comply with the criteria of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Manuscripts Submissions
Submitted articles must be in accordance with the purpose and scope of the journal. Manuscripts that are original, unpublished, and not in the process of evaluation in another journal, whose content and submission have been approved by each author, are accepted for evaluation.

The academic level of the published papers is appropriate to academicians, researchers, graduate students, and related academic institutions and organizations.
Article Processing Charge
The publication of articles and the execution of article processes in the journal are free of charge. No processing fee or submission fee is charged under any other names (editorial processing charges, language editing fees, color charges, submission fees, page charges, membership fees, print subscription costs, or other supplementary charges). The Akif does not accept sponsorship or advertisements as part of its publication policies. All charges of the Akif are covered by

Originality of Manuscripts
The Akif does not want to publish material that have already appeared in full elsewhere. However, we sometimes accept articles that have already appeared in foreign language journals.
