AKRA CULTURE, ART AND LITERATURE
PUBLISHING PRINCIPLES
1. Akra Culture, Arts and Literature Journal is an international refereed journal and published every four months.
2. The Turkish short name of the journal is “AKRA MAGAZINE” and the English short name is “AKRA JOURNAL”.
3. All kinds of intellectual, scientific, legal etc. responsibilities of the articles published in our journal belong to their authors.
4. In our journal, historical, philosophical, religious, literary, educational sciences and all kinds of social content articles are published.
5. The articles in our journal are published in two sections:
a. Refereed articles b. Culture, art and literature articles (If necessary, city files and book introduction articles are added to the last section.)
Unexpected articles, book promotions, province and district files passing through the editorial board are not sent to the referees. The editorial board evaluates such referees.
6. The submitted articles must include the institution, academic title, name-surname, full address, telephone number and e-mail addresses of the author.
7. Articles written in foreign languages (English, German, French ... etc) are also included in Akra Culture, Arts and Literature Magazine. Such articles should include a summary of the language in which they are written and a Turkish summary.
8. Summary and keyword condition is not required in the section of Culture, Arts and Literature (part 2).
9. Articles that outweigh the subjective aspect and degrade the national and moral values of our society and the moral and ceremonial values of humanity are not published in our journal.
10. In order to ensure spelling unity in the submitted articles, the Turkish Language Institution Spelling Guide should be taken as a basis, and jargon and unnecessary technical language should be avoided.
11. The writing errors that are seen in the articles are partially intervened by the writing board. However, the necessary information is given to the author in case of obvious errors are corrected.
12. Articles deemed appropriate by the editorial board are sent to two referees. Articles that receive positive reports from two referees are included in the publication list. If one of the reports is positive and one is negative, the editorial board and the editorial board decide whether to publish the article.
13. The articles sent to the referees are evaluated by the referees within one month and sent to the editorial board.
14. Those who receive a correction report are sent to the author with the report. In case of not acting in accordance with the report, the articles are not evaluated.
15. Referees are not paid royalties.
16. Pictures should be numbered sequentially. If necessary, necessary explanations should be made under the pictures.
17. The rate of similarity (plagiarism) in the articles should be less than thirty-five percent.
18. Submitted articles should not exceed twenty five (25) pages.
Rules to be followed in the submitted articles
1. The submitted manuscripts should be arranged in 11 font size and Times New Roman character, justified.
2. The footnotes are Times New Roman and 9 point, and must be arranged either under the page or by the order number at the end of the article.
3. The bibliography should be Times New Roman and 9 font size.
4. The name of the author must be below the title and the academic title (*) must be given as asterisk footnote.
5. If the sources used are given collectively at the end of the page or at the end of the article, the surname of the author should be followed with the surname and the name of the author, the book title, the institution in which it was printed, the number of prints, the place and year of the edition, and the page number.
Ex: Güzel, Abdurrahman; Religious-Sufistic Turkish Literature Handbook, Akçağ Publications, 4th Edition, Ankara 2009.
In addition, “REFERENCES” must be given at the end of the article.
6. If the sources used are shown with the apa system, the name of the author and the year of the publication should be shown in parentheses with the page numbers (Tanpınar, 2006: 202-228) or (Tanpınar 2006).
If more than one edition of a work was made in a year and these pressures are cited in the same article (Kaplan, 2014a: 123), (Kaplan, 2014b: 134-135) should be shown as ....
If the sources in the article are shown with the APA system, "REFERENCES" should be indicated with the APA system.
7. In the bibliographies to be used in footnotes, the identities should be as follows:
a. In the copyright books, the author's surname and title should be given in the order of the title of the book, the institution in which it was printed, the number of prints, the place and year of publication. ex: Okay, Orhan; Art and Literary Writings, Dergâh Yayınları, 3rd edition, Istanbul 2011.
b. The translation should be given in the books in the order of the author's surname and title, book title, name of the translator, institution in which it was printed, how many editions it was, place of publication and year of publication.
ex: Şebüsteri, Gülşeni Raz, (trans. Abdülbaki Gölpınarlı), Ministry of National Education, Youth and Sports Publications, 1st edition, Istanbul 1985.
c. Acronyms should be based on TDK Writing Guide (2012).

Print or print: bs.
Volume: c.
Translator or translated: translate.
Prepared or prepared by: delight.
