Articles sent to Akra Culture, Art and Literature Magazine are first sent to the language and pre-check editor, articles that have successfully completed the pre-check process are taken to the pricing stage, and authors are contacted via e-mail and informed about the process. Articles that have completed the pricing process are taken to the refereeing stage. Articles that have successfully completed the refereeing process are sent to the layout editor and then to the publication editor and taken to the publication stage. Within this flow of traffic, the period that can elapse from the preliminary review process of a new article to its publication is at least 40 days and this period can reach 120 days depending on the process. We kindly request that our authors consider that the evaluation process may be longer than expected before uploading an article.

You can learn detailed information about the article review, evaluation and publication processes of Akra Culture, Art and Literature Magazine on the journal homepage.

When uploading an article to Akra Culture, Art and Literature Magazine, the following points should be taken into consideration:

1. Before submitting an article, the journal's publication policy, journal topics, index information, etc. should be carefully reviewed on the journal homepage, and no attempt should be made to communicate directly with the journal editors or to obtain information via e-mail on these issues. Authors are responsible for any disagreements that may arise during or after the publication of the article.

2. Before uploading your article, make sure that you have read and applied all the articles of the "Publication Principles". Make sure that all the necessary documents included in the publication principles and mentioned below are uploaded to the system during the application.

3. Prepare your article using the "Article Template". Make sure that the features specified in the template are preserved. After placing your article in the template, only delete the yellow notes. (If your article is accepted, it will be published as you submitted it. Therefore, it is mandatory and important to follow the template.)

4. The Author-Named Full Text of your article, which you have prepared according to the template and only deleted the author names, should be in Word file format. Make sure that the unnamed Word file you upload to the system does not contain any names, surnames or any names that would remind you of the author (and the text content). (When uploading unnamed article files to the DergiPark system, the file name should be “Full Text Unnamed”).

5. The Author-Named Full Text of your article, which you have prepared according to the template, should be in Word file format. The relevant sections of the article text should include the author names and other necessary information about the author (When uploading named article files to the DergiPark system, the file name should be “Full Text Named”).

6. When uploading the "Copyright Transfer Form", make sure that the information and signatures of the author/s are included in the form. (When uploading to the DergiPark system, the file name should be “Copyright Transfer Form”.)

7. During the application, the "Ethics Committee Permission Document" must be uploaded to the system. In cases where an Ethics Committee Permission Document is not required, authors must upload this document to the system. If Ethics Committee permission is obtained, the institution, date and decision number from which the permission was obtained must be stated in the method section of the article. If Ethics Committee permission is not needed, the reason must be explained in the method section. Institutional or individual application permissions obtained for the research do not replace the Ethics Committee Permission. (When uploading to the DergiPark system, the file name must be “Ethics Committee Permission Document”.)

8. The similarity / plagiarism report will be created by the intihal.net program while the article is being uploaded and will be notified to you. If your similarity rate is high, you can review the upload process.

Also:
- If a revision is requested, upload the corrected article as a new corrected version over the previous files. Do not create a separate additional file.

- If revision is requested, please state the revisions you made and the referee suggestions you could not implement by adding explanations in the correction file.

- If revision is requested, after the revisions you made and during the publication phase, make sure that the Article Metadata sections (Turkish-English abstract, keywords, bibliography, author information, etc.) are also updated in the electronic environment on the DergiPark page. For your correction requests for the article file, please forward them to the publication editor who requested your publication approval before publication, and for your correction requests for the article metadata information in the electronic environment, please forward them to the journal editor during the early view process. The author is ultimately responsible for updating and ensuring that the information regarding the article file and article metadata is correct.

- Problems or mistakes you may encounter during article uploading are outside the responsibility of Akra Culture Art and Literature Magazine. If you would like to get help, please contact DergiPark Technical Support Unit.

- Sending articles to Akra Culture Art and Literature Magazine via e-mail and communicating about article publication via the staff's personal e-mails and phones is not considered appropriate. The stage of the article is provided to the responsible authors as "Status Information" in DergiPark. The process should be followed from the DergiPark system and communication should be established from the message section of DergiPark when necessary.
